McDonald's CEO blames "misinformation" for business losses in the Middle East

McDonald's' CEO is admitting the $200-billion company is facing a negative "business impact" stemming from pro-Palestine boycott attempts. He says several markets in the Middle East and other locations are being associated with "misinformation." Blowback grew when the Israeli military was offered free meals and the company launched lawsuit against a pro-Palestinian group. McDonald's joins a list of other business giants who continue to face backlash over alleged support for Israel. We also saw it with Burger King and Starbucks as well. However - some think certain companies will be able to stave off criticism. We did reach out to McDonald's Corporation today asking if the company is taking any measures to address concerns at certain global stores. They responded by echoing the CEO's statement from yesterday, who stands by all his local operators in the Middle East.
